We are thrilled to be partnering with Brandeis Hillel School to bring music lessons to their campus in the after school hours!  The lessons will focus on learning musicianship skills, music reading, and individual playing technique on your instrument.  We use a variety of methods and method books in our lessons so if you have a preference, please let us know!  Students have the option to play all kinds of music: from technique building exercises, to classic pieces, to pop/movie music.

Lessons run from 3:15-5:45 (piano lessons are from 2:15 - 5:45 p.m.) in the music rooms and all students will meet their teachers in after care before the lessons and be dropped off at after care when we are finished.  Unfortunately, after the trial lesson we are not able to arrange make-up lessons if you have to miss a session.  Please fill out the registration form below to save your spot and the program coordinator will be in touch to confirm your time.

The Brandeis Uke Group is open to students in Grades 1-4.  The ukulele is an excellent instrument on which to learn how to play music. It's relatively simple to learn, easy to tote around, inexpensive, super fun, and timelessly popular!  In this ensemble, we will jump right into the fun stuff and learn how to play music on the ukulele. By the end of the course, students will know a few chord positions, will be able to play a couple of songs on the ukulele, and be able to sing along. Our instructors bring a classroom set of ukuleles with them to every class for the kids to use and we highly recommend that students also have a ukulele at home to practice.

FALL

Brandeis Uke Group is open to students in Grades 1-4 (3:30-4:30) and runs on Monday's via Zoom (link to be sent out to registered families).  Classes will be held Aug 31-Oct 26.  No classes held on 9/7, 9/28.

WINTER - 2020

Brandeis Uke Group is open to students in K (2:25-3:10) and Grades 1-4 (3:30-4:30) and runs on Monday's in Room 7.  Classes will be held 1/13 - 3/9. No class on 1/20, 2/17. ( 7 classes).

Winter Class fee is for K is $TBA and Grades 1-4 is $TBA.
