2:10-3:10
The uke is an excellent instrument on which to learn how to play music. It's relatively simple to learn, easy to tote around, inexpensive, super fun, and timelessly popular! In this ensemble, we will jump right into the fun stuff and learn how to play music on the ukulele. By the end of the course, students will know a few chord positions, will be able to play a couple of songs on the ukulele, and be able to sing along. Our instructors bring a classroom set of ukuleles with them to every class for the kids to use and we highly recommend that students also have a ukulele at home to practice.
FALL - 2021
BIS Uke Group is open to students in grades 6-8 and runs on Wednesday's from 3:15-4:15 in room TBA, Sept 15-Dec 15 (13 classes). No class 11/24.

Piano Group
Fridays
3:10-4:10
The Lincoln Piano Group is open to students in grades K-3. Learn piano in a fun social group atmosphere! Group piano class provides students an excellent introduction to the keyboard and prepares them for more serious private study as well as playing in a band/ensemble. Most importantly, students will begin to develop the skill of playing music with their peers which provides a lifelong benefit. Our teachers focus on developing the students’ core keyboard skills: hand position, note-reading, chord vocabulary, rhythm, and theory while rehearsing a repertoire of rock, pop, and classical songs.
FALL - 2021
Group Piano meets in room TBA on Friday's from 3:10-4:10, from Sept 17-Dec 17. (13 classes). No class on 11/26.
Cost for the Fall Group Piano class is $418.
WINTER - 2022
Group Piano meets in the Lions Club on Friday's from 3:10-4:10, from Jan. 14-Mar 25 (10 classes). Our class does not meet on 2/25.
Cost for the Winter Group Piano class is $324.
SPRING 2022
Group Piano meets in the Lions Club on Friday's from 3:10-4:10, from April 15 - June 10 (9 classes). No omit days this term.
