Montlake Uke Group
Students in Grades K-3 are welcome to join the Montlake Ukulele Group. The uke is an excellent instrument on which to learn how to play music. It's relatively simple to learn, easy to tote around, inexpensive, super fun, and timelessly popular! In this ensemble, we will jump right into the fun stuff and learn how to play music on the ukulele. By the end of the course, students will know a few chord positions, will be able to play a couple of songs on the ukulele, and be able to sing along. Our instructors bring a classroom set of ukuleles with them to every class for the kids to use and we highly recommend that students also have a ukulele at home to practice.
FALL - 2019
Uke Group is open to students in grades K-3 and runs on Monday's from 2:30-3:30 in P4. Dates for this class are Sept 23 - Dec 9 (10 classes), no class held on 11/11 and 11/25.
Cost for Fall Uke Class $239.
WINTER - 2020
Uke Group is open to students in grades K-3 and runs on Mondays from 2:30-3:30 in room P4. Dates for this class are Feb 3 - May 4 (12 classes). No class held on 2/17 and 4/13;

Montlake Hip Hop Group
The Montlake Hip Hop Dance class is open to students in Grades K-3. Dance uplifts, unites, and empowers children. It also provides children with an opportunity to express their individuality while working on gross motor skills and developing cognitive and social skills. Hip Hop is the perfect class for children who want to dance, stay active, and learn how to freestyle! Musicality, rhythm, and creative movement are key components of this fun, urban/street-style dance class that teaches boys and girls alike to step, stomp, and shake it out.

Hip Hop is open to students in grades K-3 and runs on Wednesday's from 1:20 - 2:20 p.m. on the Play Court, Sept. 25 - Dec. 11. No class on 11/27. (11 classes).
Cost for Fall Hip Hop is $263.
WINTER - 2020
Hip Hop is open to students in grades K-3 and runs on Wednesday's from 1:20 - 2:20 p.m. on the Play Court, Feb. 5 - May 6. No class on 2/19, 4/15. (12 classes).
